TyneServers ("we", "us", "our") provides game server hosting and related services. These Terms govern your use of our website, control panel, and hosting services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
You must provide accurate information when registering, including a working email address - it's how we send order confirmations, renewal reminders, and support replies. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. If you're under the age required to do so in your country, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Prices are shown in GBP and billed per 30-day service period at the slot count you select at checkout - price scales linearly with slots for the game you're ordering. We accept PayPal and Bitcoin. PayPal orders are captured and provisioned automatically; Bitcoin orders are manually reviewed and approved before the server is created.
If you enable auto-renew, your saved PayPal payment method will be automatically charged for the same slot count roughly 24 hours before your current period ends, extending service by another 30 days. You can turn auto-renew off at any time from your control panel. If an automatic charge fails, auto-renew is disabled on that server and we'll email you to renew manually.
Upgrading a server's slot count mid-cycle is billed at the new plan's price, with a pro-rated credit for unused time on your current plan applied automatically at checkout.
If a server's service period expires without renewal, it's suspended, not deleted - your world files, configuration, and mods are left in place so you can pick up where you left off by renewing. Files on servers left unrenewed for an extended period may eventually be removed to free up capacity; we'll always make a reasonable effort to warn you by email before that happens.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this section, and to suspend or terminate service - immediately and without notice for severe or urgent cases (active attacks, illegal content, abuse affecting other customers), or with notice for lower-severity issues where there's time to give you a chance to fix it. Breach of this section forfeits refund eligibility under our Refund Policy for the account or server in question, and we may refuse to provide the Service to you again in future. Where required by law, or where we believe there's a genuine risk to others, we may report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.
You're responsible for everything that happens through your account and API/FTP credentials, whether done by you or anyone you've given access to. If you believe someone else is using your account without permission, tell us immediately via a support ticket so we can lock it down.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses, or costs arising from your breach of this section or your misuse of the Service - for example, a claim brought against us because content you hosted infringed someone else's rights.
You retain ownership of the game worlds, configurations, mods, and other content you upload or generate on your server. You're solely responsible for backing up anything you can't afford to lose - see our Refund Policy and control panel documentation for what's automated and what isn't.
We aim for high uptime and run infrastructure with DDoS protection, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service - hardware fails, networks have outages, and game software occasionally needs emergency patching. Check Server Status for current operational status.
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (like lost in-game progress, lost revenue from a community server, or similar), whether from downtime, data loss, or otherwise. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded, such as for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you're a consumer, this doesn't remove any protection you're given by mandatory laws of the country you live in.
